In my installation of firefox, links I click on in Thunderbird or in other programs kept calling MyIE2 instead of Firefox. So I dug into the registry and figured out what to do:
Two registry keys, one for http and one for https need changing. The keys are:
Change the default value of each of these from "IE" or "MyIE" to "Firefox". Then under each of these, add the following keys:
Set the default value of Firefox\command in both cases to:
"c:\program files\mozilla firefox\firefox.exe" "%1"
Note: if you've got another language version of Windows, or didn't do a default install of Firefox, that location may be different of course.
I wonder why the Firefox setup doesn't install these keys, though.
PS: anyone know which commandline params Firefox can eat?
